NHIF’s CEO shares his big ask to stakeholders in the area of public education to educate Kenyans on the dangers of Carbon Monoxide poisoning during a panel session at the Household Air Pollution (HAP) Conference by WHO on 16th November 2023. The conference’s theme for this year is strengthening partnerships to eliminate silent deaths from household air pollution. The CEO welcomed partnerships in this area, emphasising that once awareness is made, the medical cost burden to NHIF goes down.
