Work Instructions on NHIF Payment Via Mpesa Paybill Number 222222.

1. Go to MPESA Menu.
2. Select PAYBILL.
3. Enter Pay-bill Number 222222.
4. Enter Account number:

                 4.1. NHIFM-ID Number (For Normal contributions e.g. NHIFM-3456789004)

                 4.2. NHIFP-ID Number (For Penalty contributions e.g. NHIFP-098765439876)

• Enter Amount to pay.
• Enter MPESA PIN.
• The transaction will be completed and will update your member account.

Work Instructions on NHIF Payment Through Selfcare.

1. Log in to the NHIF Website www.nhif.or.ke and select Self-Care.

2. Sign in to NHIF Selfcare through E-Citizen Account or NHIF Account:

3. After Sign-in, Select Pay Contributions:

4. Upon Selecting Pay Contributions, you can choose to pay for self or pay for others:
NOTE: Irrespective of the any two options chosen, fill in the correct details and amount to pay.

5. After filling in the details and amount to pay, a Prompt meesage from MPESA will be displayed on your phone for you to enter MPESA PIN.

6. After entering the MPESA PIN, you will get confirmation message of successful transaction.

7. Once complete, Sign-Out from the NHIF Self Care Platform.
